Sir,
I have the honour to state that I propose subject
to your approval to introduce in the Legislative Council a bill on the lines of the United Kingdom Bills of Exchange Act, 1914, which would cover all bills drawn in Colony, whenever drawn, where the delay in presentment is or has been due to the war.
I shall be glad if you will be so good as to
communicate your decision by telegraph.
